Documents required to raise a home insurance claim

Here are the documents that need to be submitted along with the claim form to initiate a claim under the home insurance policy:

• Fire brigade report
• Medical Officer’s Certificate for death or disability
• An investigation report by police
• Suppliers original invoice for replacement
• Invoice of owned articles, if any
• FIR Copy, if any
• Repair estimates
• Court summons
