You are responsible for securing access to the Site / Mobile Application, which may involve third-party fees. Additionally, you must have the necessary equipment to access the Site / Mobile Application. By using this Site / Mobile Application and providing your personal/contact details, you express your interest in availing and purchasing the selected Service(s). InsureMyHome may contact you electronically or by phone to understand your interest in the chosen products and Service(s) and to fulfill your requests, including renewals and reminders. You also consent to InsureMyHome sharing your details with its affiliates and partners, who may contact you for information and sales through email, telephone, and/or SMS. Furthermore, you agree to receive promotional materials and special offers from InsureMyHome via email or SMS

InsureMyHome provides you with a limited license to access and use the Site / Mobile Application and its services for personal purposes. This license excludes downloading or copying information for the benefit of others, unauthorized linking, framing of content, and uploading material without the right to do so. Prohibited actions also include transmitting viruses, overloading infrastructure, and using data mining tools. You must not bypass InsureMyHome’s access measures, and any unauthorized use terminates the granted license. Usage restrictions include refraining from commercial use, engaging in speculative or fraudulent transactions, and violating access limitations. Unauthorized access, copying, or automated means are not allowed. Deep-linking or incorporating the site into another without permission is also prohibited

The Service is restricted to individuals aged 18 and above and is not accessible to users suspended or removed by InsureMyHome. Each user is limited to one active account and is not allowed to sell, trade, or transfer their account to another party. If you do not meet these criteria, you are not permitted to use the Service or the Site / Mobile Application

Violations may lead to purchase cancellations, denied access, loss of payments, and reimbursement of incurred costs

InsureMyHome does not assert ownership over materials you share on the Site / Mobile Application. These materials may be incorporated into the Service, wholly or partially, or in a modified form at InsureMyHome’s discretion. By submitting materials, you grant InsureMyHome a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works, and sublicense such materials. You affirm that the provided materials are rightfully yours. As per IRDAI rules, you have the right to cancel your insurance policy within 15 days from the date of online receipt (Free Look Period). The premium refund process follows insurer procedures. This applies to Home insurance policies, subject to specified terms by IRDAI. It’s advised to read the policy document thoroughly. If terms don’t meet your needs, utilize the free look facility. Upon cancellation within the Free Look Period, the entire premium is refunded, minus charges for medical tests, administrative costs, and mortality charges for the policy period. Deductions are at the insurer’s discretion. Refund-related payments are the insurer’s sole responsibility as per IRDAI rules. InsureMyHome uses RBI authorized payment gateways for online premium payments, acting as a facilitator for speedy refunds

As the cardholder, you have the right to dispute a transaction on our Website and initiate a Chargeback with your issuing bank for transaction reversal. Chargeback is permitted under specific circumstances, such as alleged forgery, hot-listed cards, duplicate processing, or as per applicable rules by RBI, card associations, and issuing banks. However, we may reject a Chargeback under specific circumstances

It is prohibited for any person, directly or indirectly, to offer or allow inducements for taking out, renewing, or continuing insurance in India, including rebates on commission or premiums. Policyholders should not accept rebates, except those allowed according to insurers’ published prospectuses or tables. Non-compliance with this provision may result in a penalty, which could extend up to ten lakh rupees

You acknowledge that, for any financial transaction on the website, Our Company may conduct client/customer due diligence and request mandatory KYC information in accordance with applicable laws. You consent to and authorize Our Company to obtain your credit information through authorized entities if needed. Our Company will gather sufficient information to verify the identity of each customer and the purpose of the intended insurance relationship with the insurance company(ies). You agree to ensure that insurance premium payments are made only from your bank account or a joint account where you are a joint holder. Additionally, all refunds, in compliance with the PMLA Act and rules, will be processed by the insurance company(ies) through us to the bank account used for premium payment

InsureMyHome ensures compliance with local, state, and central laws. It commits to providing information or assistance to government agencies lawfully authorized for cybersecurity activities. This includes verifying identity and preventing, detecting, investigating, or prosecuting offenses under current laws or addressing cybersecurity incidents. InsureMyHome acknowledges government orders within seventy-two hours. The Grievance Officer and legal team are authorized to handle such orders

InsureMyHome operates the website from its Gurgaon headquarters, and materials on the website may not be suitable for use in other locations. Users accessing the website from different locations must comply with local laws, including export and import regulations. Marketing materials on the website are directed solely to individuals, companies, or entities in India, adhering to prevailing laws. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at Kolkata

You explicitly acknowledge and agree that InsureMyHome, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages. This includes damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, even if InsureMyHome was advised of the possibility of such damages. If liability is established despite the limitation, the aggregate liability of InsureMyHome and/or its affiliates will not exceed the greater of the service fees paid for the transaction(s) on the Site/Mobile Application or Rupees One Hundred only (INR 100). The limitations of liability persist even if any specified remedy in these terms fails its essential purpose, reflecting the risk allocation between the parties. These limitations benefit InsureMyHome, its affiliates, and/or their respective service providers

You agree to indemnify and defend InsureMyHome, including its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures, and employees, against any claims, causes of action, demands, losses, damages, fines, penalties, or other costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees. This indemnification pertains to your breach of this Terms of Use, violation of any law or the rights of a third party, or your use of the Site/Mobile Application

When utilizing the Site/Mobile Application or sending emails to InsureMyHome, you engage in electronic communication. You give consent to receive electronic communications from InsureMyHome, including via email and WhatsApp. InsureMyHome may communicate with you through email, notices on the Site/Mobile Application, phone calls, or other commonly used means of communication (including WhatsApp). You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications provided to you electronically meet any legal requirement for written communication

The Site/Mobile Application may offer users the ability to send emails and post messages. InsureMyHome is not obligated to review or be liable for user Postings but may monitor and remove content. Users agree not to post unlawful, harmful, or objectionable material, advertisements, false information, personal data, unauthorized downloads, chain letters, or deceptive content. Prohibited content includes threats, false information, and messages violating laws. Users must not use InsureMyHome for unsolicited messages, connecting without permission, or sending unauthorized promotional messages

The Site/Mobile Application or third parties may provide links to other websites or resources. InsureMyHome is not responsible for the availability of such external sites, does not endorse their content, and is not liable for any damage or loss arising from the use or reliance on their content, advertising, products, or materials

Access to and utilization of password-protected or secure sections of the Site/Mobile Application is limited to authorized users exclusively. Unauthorized individuals attempting to gain entry to these areas may be subjected to prosecution.

The trademarks, logos, and service marks (“Marks”) visible on the Site/Mobile Application belong to InsureMyHome/its parent company and other affiliated parties and service providers. Users are not allowed to use any Marks, including using them as metatags on other web pages or sites on the World Wide Web, without the written permission of InsureMyHome or the respective third party owning the Marks. Regardless of other provisions in this ToU or general legal principles, any provision of this ToU that imposes or involves ongoing obligations on a party will remain valid after the expiration or termination of this ToU

If any of these conditions is considered invalid, void, or unenforceable for any reason, the parties agree that the court should attempt to uphold the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision. The unenforceable condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining conditions. Headings are for reference only and do not limit the scope of such sections. This ToU and the relationship between you and InsureMyHome will be governed by the laws of India without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You and InsureMyHome agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata for any legal proceedings related to this ToU. The failure of InsureMyHome to act regarding a breach by you or others does not waive its right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches. InsureMyHome does not guarantee it will take action against all breaches of this ToU. Except as expressly provided otherwise in this ToU, there are no third-party beneficiaries to this ToU. This ToU constitutes the entire agreement between you and InsureMyHome, governing your use of the Site / Mobile Application, and supersedes any prior agreements between you and InsureMyHome regarding the Site / Mobile Application

If any of these conditions is deemed invalid, void, or unenforceable for any reason, the parties agree that the court should strive to give effect to the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision. The unenforceable condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining conditions. This ToU and the relationship between you and InsureMyHome will be governed by the laws of India without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The failure of InsureMyHome to act regarding a breach by you or others does not waive its right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches. This ToU constitutes the entire agreement between you and InsureMyHome, governing your use of the Site / Mobile Application, and supersedes any prior agreements between you and InsureMyHome regarding the Site / Mobile Application
